WILLIAMS, RICHARD COLYN SR. 70 - of Brigantine passed away on Friday June 28, 2013. Richard was born in Philadelphia PA. He was member of the Atlantic City Beach Patrol and he proudly served his country in the US Navy. Richard was a member of the Atlantic City Police Department for 33 years. He retired in 1998 with the rank of Sergeant. After his retirement he owned and operated an Atlantic City Jitney. He was a member of the Atlantic City Jitney Association and the retired Police Officers Association. Richard is survived by his beloved wife Kathleen (nee Doherty) his children Lynn Arnold (Todd), Dee Brown (Doug) Richard C. Williams Jr. (Heather). He is also survived by his brothers Donald Williams (Fiancee Joanie), William "Billy" Williams, his sister Lynn Farrington (David) and his grandchildren Lauren & Doug Brown and Ava and Colyn Williams. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Richards Life Celebration on Friday July 5, 2013 from 9 to11am at the Brigantine North School Auditorium, Sheridan Blvd Brigantine. Funeral Service will follow at 11am. Interment is private. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations maybe made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 7585517 Topeka, Kansas 66675.
